Burradon Pharmacy is proudly owned by brother and sister Paul and Eva Kneafsey, who share a passion for delivering high-quality, personal healthcare to the local community. Paul first came to the North East to study at Sunderland University and quickly fell in love, not just with his future wife, but with the people and the strong sense of community here in the North East.

Burradon Pharmacy reflects that connection. It has been built with a clear vision: to bring back true, traditional customer service values, alongside modern, accessible healthcare.

Paul brings over 20 years of experience in community pharmacy. Throughout his career, he has seen how much of a difference a great local pharmacy can make, not just in providing medication, but in offering reassurance, advice and genuine support when people need it most.

Burradon Pharmacy is his opportunity to build exactly that. A place where patients feel known, listened to and cared for, not just processed.

Eva is a highly experienced hospital pharmacist, bringing strong clinical knowledge and a patient-focused approach to everything we do.

Together, they combine community and hospital expertise to create a pharmacy that offers both accessibility and clinical confidence.

Big shout out to Ali she is a credit to the pharmacy .After a rocky few weeks trying to sort a Medibox out for my father. Our local pharmacy let us down with awful customer service and a dispensing error. We can't believe we have found this little gem of a pharmacy. Dads Medibox was done with no hassle at all .My father has parkinson's and takes 17 tablets a day Ali & Paul really did come to our families rescue today it has taken the pressure of my mam. And dad feels happier knowing he is getting a weekly box .Fabulous service i/we would highly recommend Thanks again and enjoy the chocolate Ali Lynn & family

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. *see edit below* Agree with comment regarding problems collecting pre-requested prescription. How can it be so slow when I've called to be sure it's there 2 days in advance. Also some staff are very ignorant, particularly the petite dark haired girl who I presume is a pharmacist. Vacant is the only way I could describe her. Maybe she is extremely unhappy in her job but come on, a hello or acknowledgement you are there wouldn't hurt. Its common courtesy. Update.... 9 months on, nothing changes. No acknowledgement when you walk in, prescription not ready after an advance phone call. Edit: Went in today (9/12/25)..... what a turnaround! Under new management and new pharmacist very pleasant. Like a breath of fresh air compared to the previous. Made a point of saying hello and introducing himself as soon as I walked through the door, makes a change from being ignored and at times feeling uncomfortable and that you were troubling the staff by just being there. Well done for making such a difference in such a short space of time. Long may it continue.
